Amanda Olson is happy in her 15th year at Holy Family Academy. After graduating with an Elementary Education degree from Northwestern College in 2001, she taught a year of pre-kindergarten before deciding to stay home when her 1st child was born. In 2010, Amanda rejoined the profession and was hired by Holy Family. Over the years, she has had many different positions at Holy Family, including: Assistant Teacher in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade; 6th grade history teacher; 6th grade math teacher; and currently as the school's P.E. teacher. In addition, she currently serves as the Pre-School Director and as an assistant Pre-School teacher.
Amanda is married to Michael Olson, who is also a Catholic school teacher (Providence Academy), and they have 4 children: Anna (20), Jake (18), Audrey (12), and Henry (8 ). In Amanda's spare time - when she is not driving her kids to all of their activities - you can usually find her at Target, at home cooking a new recipe in the kitchen, or taking her dog Axel for a walk.
