The philosophy of Montessori education is to support students in their natural development of mind, body and soul. Three and four year old children are enrolled in the same class, and participate in a Montessori program.
Both Montessori and Classical education seek to allow students to behold the truth, goodness and beauty in the world as revealed to mankind through the Incarnation.
The Montessori Method principles:
We offer two options for preschool:
The Montessori approach works best when students attend at least 1/2 a day 5 days per week. This option allows the students to be in a similar routine and affords the best chance for consistent, substantive progress.
Students must be at least 3 years old by September 1 to enroll in preschool.
Students must be 5 years old by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten.
"When it came time to determine where our child would attend school we wanted a place that offered a strong foundation both educationally and spiritually and Holy Family Academy proved to be the perfect choice. Within the first few months of Pre-K I could see our daughter becoming more articulate, self-confident, considerate and spiritual, not to mention academically how much she advanced with both math and reading! We are beyond pleased to have found the community in Holy Family Academy!"
